Gov. Tony Evers has appointed John Tate II, a Racine Common Council alderman and social worker, as chair of the Wisconsin Parole Commission Chair. Tate's appiontment follows a two-year vacancy at the commission and an attempt by former Gov. Scott Walker to reduce the commission to a single person.
