Milwaukee-based Harley-Davidson Inc. earned $68.2 million in the third quarter. That’s a 40 percent loss compared to the same time period in 2016. As a result, the motorcycle company’s stock price has plunged 20 percent since the beginning of this year. Top executives say natural disasters, and slow domestic and international sales are to blame.
