Week In Review: The federal workers’ safety agency has opened another investigation into a northern Wisconsin shipyard. The shipyard recently reached a settlement with the agency for safety violations due to lead exposure there. Danielle Kaeding reports.

Mining company Gogebic Taconite (GTAC) is still working to close out the site where it had hoped to build a $1.5 billion iron mine in northern Wisconsin. Danielle Kaeding reports.

An international student from Syria has been pursuing his master’s degree in the Twin Ports. Before that, he was living on the front lines of the Syrian civil war in Aleppo. He spoke about his journey from the war-torn country to the U.S. at Peace United Church of Christ in Duluth on Sunday. The Syrian student may have to return to his home country because he is graduating in May. Olivia Shalaby reports.
