There’s something of a land rush underway in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.As demand for vacation property grows, development is encroaching into an area that used to be relatively remote.Large Paper Companies are realizing their land holdings in the UP are worth more if sold for recreation.That leaves some concerns that places which were once open to the public could sprout “no trespassing” signs.Patty Murray recently visited the Keweenaw Peninsula, where the State of Michigan has purchased a large tract of land and is now trying to figure out what to do with it…
