Hidden Colors: The Untold History of People of Aboriginal, Moor and African Descent
February is African American History Month, and it is seen as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of African Americans throughout history. In truth it is much more than that. By reliving and remembering history, we create an awareness of the past and current struggles that fuel the racial divide in our country. This is part 1 of a four-part series about the real and untold history of people of color. This lecture discusses some of the reasons the contributions of African and aboriginal people have been left out of the pages of history.
