On Wednesday, Dec. 4 beginning at 9 a.m., WPR will broadcast NPR's coverage of the House Judiciary Committee hearing regarding the "Constitutional Grounds for Presidential Impeachment." The Judiciary committee is tasked with drafting potential articles of impeachment.
NPR's Ailsa Chang will host, joined by Senior Washington Editor and Correspondent Ron Elving and Congressional Correspondent Susan Davis. If the hearing runs into the afternoon, NPR National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson and Congressional Reporter Tim Mak will join the coverage.
This special coverage will pre-empt regularly scheduled programming on the NPR News & Classical Music Network, The Ideas Network and wpr.org live stream. At this time we expect special coverage to last into the afternoon. WPR will return to regularly-scheduled programming when the hearings conclude.
Classical music will be available at wpr.org and on the WPR App on the All Classical Network stream.
We will update this page as information, schedule and times are announced or changed.
