Featured in this Show

  • Badger Coulee Transmission Line Project

The Wisconsin Public Service Commission has accepted the application of American Transmission Company and Xcel Energy to construct the Badger Coulee Transmission Line Project. The project would expand power lines between the La Crosse and Madison areas. The PSC is looking for feedback from the public as it and other state agencies consider the application. A series of initial public meetings are being held in late May and June. We talk with officials from ATC and the PSC about the project and the process. There is also commentary about the project from a member of the Citizens Energy Task Force, which opposes the project.
