ILONA'S HOMEMADE GRANOLA

3 Cups Old-fashioned oats
¾ Cup Flaked coconut
½ Cup Toasted wheat germ
¼ Cup Oat bran
¼ Cup Sunflower seeds
¼ Cup Slivered almonds
¼ Cup Chopped pecans (or walnuts)
2 Tbs Sesame seeds
¼ Cup Honey

2 Tbs Olive oil
2 Tbs Frozen concentrated orange juice
2 tsp Vanilla extract
½ tsp Salt
1 Cup Dried cranberries (or dried blueberries)
¼ Cup Chopped dates
¼ Cup Apricots
3 Tbs Raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients and mix well. In a smaller bowl, combine the honey, oil, orange juice concentrate, vanilla extract and salt. Mix well and then pour over the dry ingredients.

Spread oat mixture onto a ungreased baking pan. Bake for seven minutes and stir. Bake another seven minutes and stir again. Cool completely. Add the cranberries, dates, apricots and raisins to the cooled mixture and stir well. Store in air-tight containers until ready to serve.*
