STUFFED LAMB BURGERS

Stuffed Lamb Burgers

1½ Pounds Ground lamb
2 Large Garlic cloves
1½ tsp Salt
¼ Cup Crumbled feta cheese (or Goat cheese)
1 Tbs Fresh mint, finely chopped
1 Tbs Olive oil

Preheat oven to 250 degrees

In a large bowl, combine the lamb meat, garlic and salt. Gently toss to blend. In a smaller bowl, combine the feta (or goat) cheese with the mint. Create 12 small balls of meat. Make a small hole into each ball and stuff with a teaspoon of the mint-cheese filling. Press into patty. Repeat with remaining lamb. (Can be made a day ahead if needed.)

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook lamb patties until browned on both sides. (About 3 minutes per side.) Transfer patties to baking sheet and keep warm in oven until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Servings: 12
