Wisconsin’s presidential recount is on track to finish by next week’s federal deadline, the state Elections Commission reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the commission reported about 70 percent of recount work is complete, meaning more than 2 million votes have been recounted over the past six days.

Thirty-four of the state’s 72 counties have finished their recounts.

So far, the commission reported Democrat Hillary Clinton has gained 82 more votes than President-elect Donald Trump in the recount. Trump still leads with a sizable margin, having won the November election by about 22,000 votes.

The commission said most changes between canvass results and recount results are due to human error.
