Wisconsin Delegates Will Hear From Bernie Sanders Tuesday

Former Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders will speak to the Wisconsin delegation at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday morning.

A group of Sanders delegates booed mentions of expected presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in the convention’s first day in Philadelphia. The boos from Sanders’ supporters started early.

By the end of the night, however, their numbers had diminished but a crowd of so-called “Bernie or Bust” delegates remained.

Peter Rickman, a Sanders delegate from Wisconsin, said they didn’t reflect his views.

“It’s an extremely vanishing handful of people who are engaged in these individual acts of defiance. They’re not building credibility for the political revolution. They’re not casting a positive light on this campaign and certainly not on the rest of us,” Rickman said.

Sanders addressed the full convention Monday night. He could make another appearance on Tuesday night when delegates officially start voting.
