It's time for clocks to "spring ahead" this Sunday for Daylight Saving Time. But why does DST now start earlier and end later? Joy Cardin's guest tells the history of Daylight Saving Time. Guest: David Prerau, author, "Seize the Daylight: The Curious and Contentious Story of Daylight Saving Time" (Thunder's Mouth Press). Conducted studies on Daylight Saving Time for the U.S. Department of Transportation, and was a consultant for the bill to extend DST.
