| After three, on Here on Earth: Radio Without Borders, Jean Feraca talks with Annie Lanzillotto about her book L is for Lion: An Italian Bronx Butch Freedom Memoir.
Guest: Annie Rachele Lanzillotto is an author, songwriter, poet and performance artist, and has taught theater, writing, and "the art of the interaction practitioner" in various institutions. She's recipient of a 2012 Franklin Furnace Award for Performance Art, was named one of "200 Essential New Yorkers," at the NY Times/Smithsonian Folklife Festival, and received the first annual Italian American Writer's Association Paolucci award in poetry. Lanzillotto holds a BA from Brown University, and an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, and is listed in Who's Who in America. |
