| After three, Jean Feraca talks with Bill Strickland, a man who transformed his own life from inner-city desperation to successful social entrepreneur. Today, he rescues at-risk school kids by using the arts to teach them life skills. He also created a model for turning displaced adults into productive workers. His work has helped re-invent America's approach to social entrepreneurship.
Guest:
Bill Strickland is the founder and CEO of the Manchester Bidwell Corporation, a nonprofit agency in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which trains adults-in-transition and mentors urban, at-risk youth. |
