John Munson in for Kathleen Dunn
from Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10:00 PM
Yesterday, the NCAA announced disciplinary action against Penn State University in connection to the Jerry Sandusky child rape scandal. College sports' governing body fined Penn State $60 million, suspended the football program from bowl games for four years, revoked ten scholarships a year for four years, and canceled all Penn State victories from 1998 to 2011. Most analysts agree that the punishment is severe, although there is some disagreement on its suitability. This hour, guest host John Munson and his guest talk about how the scandal and sanctions might change Penn State and the culture of college sports. GUEST 10 - 10:20: Mike Kern - Sportswriter for the Philadelphia Daily News 10:20 - 11: Lynn Zinser - Sports reporter for the New York Times
