from Monday, January 21, 2013 at 4:00 PM
Martin Luther King, Jr.'s message of equality, freedom and justice is a profound message that still resonates nearly 45 years after his death. But how have attitudes towards that message changed over time? Ben Merens and his guest discuss how Dr. King's message was received then...and how it's received now. Guest: Tyrone Tillery, associate professor of history at the University of Houston, who specializes in African American and Civil Rights history.
