| Last week's announcement that JPMorgan Chase had lost $2 billion in a trade gone wrong has reignited the debate over regulations in the banking industry. After four, Ben and his guest discuss the role of regulations, what they are, what's already in place, and what changes we might see as a result of this loss.
Guests:
- James Barth, Lowder Eminent Scholar in Finance at Auburn University and a Senior Fellow at the Milken Institute. He's the co-author of "Guardians of Finance: Making Regulators Work for Us"
- Bob DeYoung, Capitol Federal Professor in Financial Markets and Institutions at Kansas University, president of the President of the Southern Finance Association, and co-editor of the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking. |
