| Earlier today, ten states received waivers from the federal No Child Left Behind law, allowing the states flexibility in how they set achievement goals. And while Wisconsin wasn't one of the states, the Department of Public Instruction is planning on seeking a waiver soon, which fits into the state's broader education reform plan. Guest: Alan Borsuk, senior fellow in law and public policy, Marquette University Law School; education beat columnist, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. |
