President Obama's Deficit Reduction Commission today released its proposals to combat the deficit - a combination of changes in the tax code and cuts in domestic and military spending. After four, Gene Purcell and his guest discuss the panel's proposals, and how they might impact the deficit. Jason Fichtner, Senior Research Fellow, Mercatus Center, George Mason University and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the Georgetown Public Policy Institute and Virginia Tech Center for Public Administration and Policy. (Due to technical problems, there were several short audio interruptions in this archive.)

Once you click on the "Start Download Now" button below, the download dialog window may not appear for several seconds. Do NOT click on the button more than once or your download request may be refused.

When you start the download, several dialog boxes may appear on your screen:

If a "file download" box appears, simply click the "SAVE" button.
If a "Save-As" box appears, locate a folder where you want to save the MP3 program file and click "SAVE".
Some browsers will automatically save the file to a pre-determined location (often to your desktop or Documents folder).
A "Download Progress" box may appear showing the file downloading to your PC. When the download is completed, you may receive a final "Download Complete" indication. You can then CLOSE this dialog box.
Mac Users: iTunes may automatically launch and start playing the file after it's downloaded.
