Donald Trump’s campaign unveiled a list of Wisconsin women who support his presidential campaign Wednesday in an effort to boost his approval ratings in the state.

The move comes as the GOP nominee continues to garner low approval ratings from women in Wisconsin with just a 25 percent approval rating among female registered voters, according to the latest Marquette University Law School Poll.

The list, dubbed the Wisconsin Women For Trump Coalition, has about 90 women, including state Sens. Alberta Darling, R-River Hills, and Mary Lazich, R-New Berlin.

Sue Lynch, an activist from La Crosse and coalition member, said she’s not concerned with Trump’s remarks many women find sexist.

“I’m not going to be distracted by those few comments because I trust Donald Trump will put America first,” Lynch said on a conference call with reporters Wednesday.

Lynch also believes Trump should be considered a better role model for young girls than Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

“Hillary Clinton has demonstrated, time and time again, lie after lie, on these emails and her (in) role in Benghazi,” that she is not a role model, Lynch said.

Former Republican Lt. Gov. Margaret Farrow is also a member of the coalition. Current Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch is not.

U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Milwaukee, a Clinton supporter, issued a statement Wednesday after Trump’s announcement, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. In the statement, Moore said: “Wisconsin women have heard Donald Trump repeatedly demean women. He opposes equal pay measures and supports defunding Planned Parenthood. Donald Trump is dangerously unqualified to be president. We just cannot trust him to manage the economy, keep us safe, or put Wisconsin families first.”
