The Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism has reported that a large number of prisoners who served time at the Waupun Correctional Institution are alleging that guards there abused inmates in the segregation unit.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has invalidated a restraining order against a former University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point student that barred him from stepping on any UW property, saying that the scope of the injunction was too broad.
