WPR iPad Official Drawing Rules and Prize Details
Eligibility
Contest entrants must be at least 18 years old as of October 11, 2013 and a resident of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois or Michigan. This contest is sponsored by Wisconsin Public Radio (“WPR”), a service of the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board and the University of Wisconsin - Extension, 821 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53706. Employees, board members, and advisory committee members of WPR, the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board and the University of Wisconsin - Extension, and their respective immediate family and household members are not eligible. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
Entry Period
There are three contest periods for the iPad drawing:
Between 12:01am and 11:59pm Central Time on October 11, 2013,
Between 12:01am and 11:59pm Central Time on October 15, 2013, and
Between 12:01am and 11:59pm Central Time on October 19, 2013
(the "Entry Periods").
How to Enter
All pledges made at wpr.org, or by calling 1-888-202-2552, during any of the Entry Periods are automatically entered for that Entry Period. Sustaining members (donors who are signed up for automatically renewing memberships) are automatically entered in each Entry Period.
No purchase or contribution is necessary. Of course, we appreciate contributions, but making a contribution will not affect your chances of winning.

The completed postcard must be postmarked by 11:59pm Central Time on October 19, 2013 to be eligible for the drawing. Entries received outside of the Entry Periods, and incomplete entries, are void. Postcard entries will be entered into the drawing for the October 19th Entry Period.
Prizes
Three (3) 16 GB Apple iPads. The value of each iPad is $499.
The value of the prize is determined by the price on the vendor's website. The prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. All taxes on any prize, including but not limited to federal, state, and local income and sales taxes, and any expense not covered herein (including but not limited to expenses related to the use of any prize) are the responsibility of the winner.
Selection and Announcement of Winner
One Prize will be awarded for each Entry Period. The winner of each Entry Period will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Three prize drawings (one for each Entry Period) will be conducted by WPR staff on or about 10:00am Central Time on October 29, 2013. The winners will be required to sign and execute a Winner’s Release and Certificate of Compliance and where legal, a Publicity Release, within 14 days of notification attempt. Failure to return the affidavit in the time noted will result in disqualification of the winner(s) and an alternate winner(s) will be selected. If a winner cannot be reached by phone or email in a timely fashion on the day of the drawing, or if a winner declines the Prize, an alternate winner will be selected.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning each Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received in each Entry Period. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the winner's name, hometown and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation. The contest prize will be awarded, and the winner will be notified, by phone and/or email, on or about October 29, 2013, or in a timely fashion.
Limit of Entry
Limit one entry per household for each Entry Period. By entering, entrant acknowledges compliance with these official rules, including all eligibility requirements. WPR is not responsible for failures in technology such as but not limited to: technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Proof of emailing and/or mailing does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt.
Other Important Points
By entering, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Contest Rules. WPR shall have the final decision on determination of winner and any and all claims concerning this contest and reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if these Contest Rules are not followed. Also, entrants release WPR, the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board and the University of Wisconsin - Extension and its employees, officers, trustees, and agents from any liability, including personal injury or property damage, with respect or related to the receipt or use of any prize awarded. WPR makes no, and disclaims all, warranties, guarantees or representations, express or implied, concerning the condition, quality, merchantability, of any prize.
For the names of the prize winner(s), send a stamped, self-addressed envelope before November 15, 2013 to WPR iPad Drawing, 821 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53706.
