A low-pressure system is bringing more snow to Wisconsin on Thursday evening.
The National Weather Service is forecasting 2 to 4 inches of snow for southern Wisconsin, with up to 4 inches possible in far northern Wisconsin.
Meteorologist Justin Schultz of the NWS in Sullivan said the snow will impact commutes.

“It’s going to be sticking around into the evening hours, so later tonight the road conditions will be snow-covered — maybe perhaps some slippery stretches as well,” said Schultz.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for most of the state due to blowing snow and very cold temperatures.
Schultz said frigid temps will persist through Saturday, but should become more seasonable by next week.
