This week’s snowfall brought back a Green Bay tradition.People lined up this morning to clear snow off the bleachers at Lambeau Field.

With every measurable snowfall the Packers put out the call for people to shovel out Lambeau Field.A team spokesman says they hoped to get up to six hundred shovelers today after yesterday’s ten inch snow.

Samuel McKinney was in town from Minneapolis and thought shoveling Lambeau would be a good way to make quick cash. The team pays ten dollars an hour to for people to shovel off the bleachers and floors of the stadium.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

After the snow is scooped it’s put on a metal chute to slide down to the sidelines. From there it’s picked up by a skid loader and taken out.

For fans like McKinney, it’s one of the only times they’ll be in Lambeau field.

“Just clear it out, make it look nice for people to sit down,” he says.

McKinney has never been inside Lambeau Field before.

“It’s pretty nice.” he says.”I pictured it bigger but it’s smaller than I thought.”
