Route 51 regional talk radio explores the world of opera, for those who love it, and for those who know nothing about it. Host Glen Moberg is joined by George Tepping, executive director of the Wausau Conservatory of Music , and by Wisconsin Public Radio classical music host Lori Skelton, who will introduce listeners to some of opera’s most popular and influential arias and overtures, and explore one of the world’s great mass entertainment art forms. Both Tepping and Skelton have experience with the genre: Tepping is a tenor who has performed in 22 operas; Skelton is a mezzo soprano who sings with the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus.
