Worker cooperatives are workplaces that are owned and controlled by the people who work in them. The two central characteristics are that workers invest in and own the business and decision-making is democratic. Many worker cooperatives exist right here in Wisconsin, and Kathleen's guest, Rebecca Kemble, President of US Federation of Worker Cooperatives will help explain what they are and how they operate. We'll also be joined with worker cooperative members from Madison and Milwaukee.
