Norman welcomes flutist Stephanie Jutt, pianist Thomas Kasdorf and soprano Yanzelmalee Rivera to the WPR performance studio in Madison. Together with Venezuelan clarinetist Orlando Pimentel, they will be performing music from Latin America and Spain in the Promenade Hall at the Overture Center on Friday, March 20th. They play selections from this performance including:
- Carlos Guastavino’s Introducción y Allegro
- Manuel de Falla’s Seguidilla Murciana, Nana and Canción
- Three Mexican Songs: Blas Galindo’s Madre Mia, Cuando Muero; Salvador Moreno’s Cancion de la Barca Triste; and Tata Nacho’s Tengo Nostalgia de Ti.
- Gabriela Lena Frank’s Adoración para Angelitos and Harawi de Chambi
- Astor Piazzolla’s Oblivion and Libertango
