Issue of Gun Control

We feature a debate on the issue of gun control in the wake of the elementary school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut and the push by the Obama administration for new restrictions on firearms.Guests will be F.E. “Buster” Bachhuberof Wausau, a member of the board of directors of the National Rifle Association, and Tony Gibart, policy coordinator for the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence.Mr. Bachhuber shares the NRA’s opposition to the gun control proposals being considered by the Obama administration. Mr. Gibart supports universal background checks for gun purchases, and has expressed concern about the easy availability of assault rifles and high capacity clips.
