Norman welcomes cellist Derek Handley to the WPR performance studio in Madison. Mr. Handley is a member of the Madison Symphony Orchestra and also plays with the Rockford Symphony. He received his BM from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music and his MM in Performance from Northwestern University. He privately teaches both cello and guitar.

Mr. Handley performs the Prelude, Alamande and Sarabande movements to Bach’s Suite No. 4 in E flat major for solo cello. This is followed by George Crumb’s Sonata for Solo Cello (1955). Finally he ends with the last movement (Gigue) of Bach’s Suite No. 4.
