April 30, 2015: Expansion of Granite Peak Ski Area

This Thursday, April 30th at 10 am, Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51 focuses on the $50 million dollar expansion plan for the Granite Peak Ski Area at Rib Mountain State Park. The plans call for new runs on the west side of the mountain, two chairlifts, additional year round hiking trails, and eventually slope-side lodging.

Host Glen Moberg will moderate a discussion with Charles Skinner, Owner of Granite Peak; Karen Graff, Secretary and Board Member of the Friends of Rib Mountain State Park; and Tracy Baltz, Director of Marketing for the Wausau/Central Wisconsin Convention and Visitors Bureau.
