Norman interviews American soprano Alyson Cambridge. She will be performing with the Madison Symphony Orchestra as part of their annual Holiday Concerts on December 5-7, 2014 at the Overture Center. She performs regularly with the Washington National Orchestra at the Kennedy Center where she just completed La Bohème. Ms. Cambridge is a native of Washington D.C. She attended school in Cambridge, at Oberlin College, and studied at the Curtis Institute of Music.

She sings White Christmas (1942) accompanied by pianist Vincent Fuh, and Norman plays a recording of her singing Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man of Mine (1927).
