WHA-AM POWER CHANGE SCHEDULE

The FCC rules require WHA-AM to transmit full-power (4340 Watts) only during daylight hours. Lower night-time and Pre-Sunrise power levels are authorized - see below. All times shown are local standard (CST) or advanced (CDT) time.

"(n/a)" in the Pre-Sunrise column indicates that the Full-Power start time is the same or earlier than the Low-Power Pre-Sunrise start time allowed by law (6am at 500 Watts), therefore we transmit at full power.

At sunset, WHA-AM is allowed to gradually reduce its power to lower levels ranging from 265 Watts for 30 minutes after sunset, 97 Watts until 60 minutes after sunset, and 44 Watts for the remainder of the night until sunrise.
