A group of five Amish families in Eau Claire County will likely wind up back in court after refusing to install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in their homes, after already having lost a legal battle over a requirement to apply for building and sanitary permits.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will likely grant western Wisconsin-based Ashley Furniture Industries a major tax credit in order for the company to expand its headquarters in Arcadia, on the condition that it retains at least 50 percent of its workforce between 2016 and 2018.
