A bipartisan group of politicians came together to honor a former congressman and his goal of getting young people involved in politics, during the official dedication of the David R. Obey Civic Resource Center in Wausau on Wednesday night.

The grand opening for the David R. Obey Civic Resource Center takes place on Wednesday on the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County campus in Wausau, and the former congressman said he hopes the facility gets a new generation of leaders interested in politics.
