As a way to cut back on the prescription drug abuse — an issue that is often cited as a gateway to heroin and other drug addictions — the Drug Enforcement Administration introduced new rules on how to dispose prescription drugs this week.

Ernie Wittwer has acknowledged that he won't be able to successfully challenge a recount that shows he lost to fellow Democrat Pat Bomhack in the 17th District primary. He also says that he won't support Bomhack in the general election, since he believes the attorney received undue support from Senate Majority Leader Chris Larson.
