Early voting began in Wisconsin on Monday with new restrictions in place due to a law recently passed by the Republican-controlled Legislature and signed into law by Gov. Scott Walker: Weekend hours are now banned, total voting hours are capped, and cities can only make early voting available one site.

Republican Gov. Scott Walker and Mary Burke, his Democratic challenger in the race for Wisconsin governor, met for a second and final televised debate in Milwaukee on Friday night, in which the two candidates were more aggressive in attacking each others' proposals and positions than they had in last week's faceoff.
