Hmong Public Radio (HPR) can be heard on 88.1 WHID, Green Bay on Saturdays from 5:00-7:00pm. HPR is a resource for the Hmong community providing information and news on the local, state, national, and international level that pertains directly to the Hmong. The program also presents community calendar events, traditional and contemporary Hmong music, and interviews with doctors, lawyers, politicians, and other field experts all in the Hmong language.

Vietnam Memorial Photo Project
There are 1,244 Wisconsinites listed on the Vietnam War Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. Wisconsin Public Radio, Wisconsin Public Television, Milwaukee Public Radio and Milwaukee Public Television are partnering with Wisconsin veterans organizations and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to spread the word and find a photo of every Wisconsin service man or woman listed on the Wall.
Learn how you can get involved at a free one-hour workshop on Thursday, May 16 at 7:00pm at the Brown County Library, 515 Pine Street in Green Bay. Speakers include Vietnam Veteran Tom Schober (1968-70), who will share stories of his service, and Bryce Kelly, a former teacher who, with his students, has helped find hundreds of photos. More information about the project and refreshments will be available.

Underground Shakespeare Festival
Wisconsin Public Radio is proud to sponsor with the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay Theatre Program the Underground Shakespeare Festival. In the 2012-2013 theatre season - beginning in October and ending in August, the works of William Shakespeare will independently appear in multiple theaters and arts venues in Northeastern Wisconsin.
