The Wisconsin Public Service Commission is awarding $500,000 in grants to help rural parts of the state get better Internet access.

The Eau Claire City Council passed an ordinance on Wednesday that bans the use of electronic cigarettes in city-owned buildings and buses, joining a very small list of local governments that now regulate the relatively new product.
