Proposed financial reform bill welcomed by some, condemned by others

A Wisconsin consumer protection group is applauding the financial reform bill that has cleared the Senate, though it needs to be reconciled with a similar House bill before going to the president for his signature. But some economists worry the bill intended to rein in Wall Street’s derivative markets will only hurt Wisconsin as it undergoes a fragile economic recovery. Kirk Carapezza reports
