The Big Question

Big Question: Is It Irresponsible To Vote For A Third-Party Candidate In 2016?

In an election featuring two of the most unpopular major party candidates of all time, some observers see an opening for a third-party candidate to pull in a significant amount of votes.  But some, like former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, caution against voting third-party, saying the issues currently facing the U.S. are too dire for a "protest vote."  So what do you think?  With so much on the line, do you believe it's irresponsible to vote for a third-party candidate in the 2016 presidential election?
