Started in 1927, "Chapter a Day" is WPR's longest running programs. Hosts Karl Schmidt, Jim Fleming, and others read a chapter from a book each day.
Genres range from works of fiction, history and biography, and are read virtually in their entirety in half hour increments. "Chapter a Day" can be heard weekdays on the Ideas Network from 12:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
