State lawmakers say they’ve crafted a compromise bill that would keep virtual schools open in Wisconsin.The future of the schools has been in doubt since December, when a court ruled that the largest one, the Wisconsin Virtual Academy, was operating illegally.While the Academy’s administrators have filed an appeal, many families hope that the legislation will be fast-tracked and signed into law in the coming weeks.Brian Bull reports…<
