Governor Walker is making several stops in southern Wisconsin’s extreme drought areas. He is visiting farms in Burlington and Dodgeville, and then plans to attend a meeting to discuss ways of dealing with the drought’s effects. The governor is accompanied by the state agriculture, natural resources, and insurance secretaries.
Tonight at 7:30, Wisconsin Public Television airs an hour-long special on Wisconsin’s drought. It will offer a look at current conditions, historical insights, and offer advice for farmers and homeowners coping with this situation.
The special will air on Wisconsin Public Radio’s Ideas Network Saturday afternoon at 2.
