Verse Wisconsin, a publication showcasing excellence in diversity of poetry in Wisconsin, was featured on Spectrum West this week. Ross talked to co-editors Sarah Busse and Wendy Vardaman. Erik Johnson, assistant professor of digital film and TV at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, joined the show to discuss his department as well as his appointment as a 2013 Seminar Fellow by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Spectrum West also previewed two fall art tours: the Fall Splendor Art Meander on Sept 27 and 28 from Bloomer to Spooner, and Falling Leaves Art Studio Tour on Oct 5 and 6 from Fall Creek to Fairchild. Special Correspondent Jim Oliver interviewed Arlyn Colby of Barron, author of The Blueberry Line, a book that features railroad history in western Wisconsin.
