Today (M), a gay rights group handed out “fidelity pledges” to state lawmakers opposed to gay unions.Members of Action Wisconsin hope to counter arguments of some conservative lawmakers who contend a Constitutional ban on gay marriage is needed to “protect” the institution from people they believe are not serious about committed relationships.Action Wisconsin also boycotted a public hearing on the proposed amendment.Members who say their views are being ignored taped their mouths shut to graphically illustrate their point.Shamane Mills reports…
