PRESIDENT PROJECTED WINNER IN WISCONSIN, RE-ELECTED WPR News - President Projected Winner in Wisconsin, Re-elected

The Associated Press is projecting Barack Obama to be the winner of the presidential election in Wisconsin, and says he has been re-elected.  Just before 11pm, the president led Republican Mitt Romney in Wisconsin, 51-47%, with 65% of the state's vote counted.

Congressional incumbents win

All members of Wisconsin's congressional delegation have been re-elected, and one has been elected to his first term. 

Dist 1: Republican Paul Ryan defeats Democrat Rob Zerban.

Dist 2: Democrat Mark Pocan defeats Republican Chad Lee and replaces Tammy Baldwin, who is a candidate for the open U.S. Senate seat.

Dist 3: Democrat Ron Kind defeats Republican Ray Boland.

Dist 4: Democrat Gwen Moore defeats Republican Dan Sebring.

Dist 5: Republican Jim Sensenbrenner defeats Democrat Dave Heaster.

Dist 6: Republican Tom Petri defeats Democrat Joe Kallas.

Dist 7: Republican Sean Duffy defeats Democrat Pat Kreitlow.

Dist 8: Republican Reid Ribble defeats Democrat Jamie Wall.
