U.S. pro basketball continues to grow more diverse....with players from Europe, Australia and China making a big impact in the National Basketball Association. In Milwaukee this fall, the Bucks are counting on a seven-foot-tall Chinese player to help end their losing ways. It cost the team’s owner, Herb Kohl, several million dollars to sign Chinese star Yi Jianlian to a contract. But the Bucks hope for more wins, more fans and maybe even a boost to the local economy. Friends and relatives are remembering combat medic Rachael Hugo as a compassionate, yet mischievous woman who watched soap operas, enjoyed a good game of darts, and spoiled her cat. Earlier this month, Iraqi insurgents attacked Hugo's unit with a roadside bomb and small arms fire, fatally wounding the 24-year-old army reservist from Madison. Brian Bull shares her story. …
