Rape Victim Visits Madison to Raise Awareness

A Madison-based human rights group hopes to use the heroic story of a rape survivor in Pakistan to promote equality for women all over South Asia. The inspiration for the campaign is Mukhtar Mai, a village woman who endured a horrific gang rape on the orders of her local village council, and then brought her attakers to trial.
