New Vaccine May Be Required For Pre-teen Girls

A federal health panel is out with recommendations for a new vaccine that prevents most forms of cervical cancer. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices is urging all 11 and 12-year-old girls get a series of shots.Some clinics in Wisconsin already have started stockpiling the vaccine, which could be widely available this fall once the government gives the final go-ahead.
