New Rabies Treatment Examined

Doctors who helped save a Fond du Lac girl from rabies, a disease that almost always kills, have no idea why she survived — or how they helped her live by giving her untested remedies. Now doctors from the Medical College of Wisconsin are sharing their treatment with other health professionals. The hope is that it will be thoroughly researched to see if it works on other rabies victims, especially in Third World countries where the disease is prevalent. Shamane Mills reports…
